They just don’t learn, do they?
Bought no candy this month.
I’ve had several store clerks wish me Happy Easter this year.
Chocolate for ten cents on the dollar Monday morning...can’t wait!
I thought they did that to avoid the deep-discount after Easter sales.
But what about the Garden Bunny?
Goodies...same reasoning why many school districts have spring break on a different week from Easter. Atheists and Muslims must be preferred.
FINALLY. Companies I can boycott. I usually stock up on Peeps for target practice. BUT... If there are no “Easter” candies anymore screw them all.
The left loves the muslims and hates the Christians. This is just the next attack. I don’t know the proper way to fight back, but calls to talk radio urging boycott of these companies could hurt them in their pocketbooks. Just spread the word because this is the first I have heard of this. I will be checking for verification too.
Cadbury Eid Eggs!
Reese’s Peanut Butter Passover Rabbits!
How did we ever arrive at chocolate bunnies and peeps for Easter?
Happy Spring Season everyone? That what it is turning into in our diversified PC society. It ain’t 1955 anymore Mrs Cleaver.
Easter = Resurrection Sunday.
We just went thru our packages. Zachary chocolate marshmallow egg-carton eggs say “Easter bunny headquarters”. Peeps says “always in season” and shows icons for heart, chick, pumpkin, snowman. Brach’s hardcoat marshmallow eggs are “bunny basket eggs”. Spangler circus peanut eggs are “bunnies chicks & eggs”. Lindt says ‘gold bunnies’.
Zachary gets 2 points. Peeps get to skate because, well, they’re peeps! The rest - need a chat.
Time for a CHRISTIAN owned candy company.
There’s not much that is Christian about bunnies and eggs, so I don’t see this as too big a deal.
Corporate America, most of it anyway, is only interested in $ and not respect for Christian traditions. Best response is to stop supporting them with our $.
My local super market bakery did not have Hot Cross buns for the first time in the 30 years I’ve shopped there. I asked why and the clerk said “no one buys them any more I guess”.
I noticed the “Spring Equinox” candy seemed over stocked this year — I guess there has been a bit of a boycott.
Easter Sunday long ago became a ‘Hallmark’ holiday in Our (formerly) Nation Under God.
This sort of thing may push me over the edge one day - I now have a less than zero tolerance for the corporations/people who mock the Holy Day of Easter Sunday...
GRRR! Please forgive my anger (tagline) and I sincerely send wishes to all my FRiends here for a blessed and happy Easter.
