That's a very interesting angle to this story. I would venture to guess that if you were to pick a random group of people and ask them how they feel about this story, the level of support for Dr. Dao is inversely proportional to the amount of time they spend on commercial flights.
I haven't tracked this in any detail, but even right here on FreeRepublic it seems that the posters who are most hostile to Dr. Dao all seem to be frequent fliers. I'm sure there's a good reason for it.
