We have learned long ago - this is simply two sides of the same coin.

When I was 10 (1990), I visited this place when we were on vacation visiting my aunt. It was so beautiful. It was still that way when I went to the University of Minnesota, but it clearly was changing. Muslims destroy.
This phrase illustrates the confusion of the left, and of the center also, in our society. As best I can tell from the stories, the man is exercising his freedom of speech to advocate for certain behavior.
Imposing requires the use of force and coercion to effect what he is advocating.
Totally apart from the Sharia issue, many on the left and center in our society feel that a Catholic is imposing Catholicism on others by wearing a cross or crossing himself in public. And Evangelicals are imposing their religion on others when they practice prayer at meals in restaurants.
But note the double standard. Two gays making out in a kid friendly public restaurant is not imposing anything on the rest of us.
The use of the word imposing might be fake here unless the story can be improved to explain how the police were called in to back up the opinions of the person exercising his freedom of speech.
I doubt that very seriously, as it is a legitimate role within Islam. The headline is just a ruse by the Minneapolis RedStar to make it seem as if Muslims are upset about this too.
No doubt Rashid's General Presidency of the Religious Affairs and Welfare of the Ummah adheres to Islam's obligatory female genital mutilation.
Islam teaches enjoyment of sex is better for the male when performed on a mutilated female.

Dr Elgahaly acknowledged that ‘the majority of the scholars regard it allowable and some consider it wajib (obligatory)........’ but advised that because FGM is illegal in the West, it should not be performed.”
And yet it is being performed....just recently in Tennessee...without parents' knowledge or consent. A Somali doctor performed the mutilation on American children brought into the hospital's emergency room.
