Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL) went on with Stewart Varney on Thursday morning to discuss recent developments on Capitol Hill.
Roskam told Stewart House Republicans are planning of filing criminal charges against Lois Lerner.
Rep. Roskam: The Obama Administration was very lenient with the crimes that Lois Lerner committed. And those are strong words that I’m using but the House Ways and Means Committee voted out a criminal referral to the Department of Justice which was completely dismissed by the Department of Justice… We think that Lois Lerner did two things wrong. Number one, she denied people due process and equal protection of the law based on their political philosophy. We’re convinced that there is overwhelming evidence to suggest that that’s true. And that’s a felony. Secondly, we suspect that she lied to the Inspecter General of the Treasury Department.

Sorry, but there is a huge legal error in this headline.
With exception of Contempt charges, which is not what is being discussed here, Legislative arms, (In this case the House) or even less, a set of its members belonging to one political party, do not and can not file criminal charges.
They may ask the DOJ to take the matter before a grand jury, but neither the House nor one political party’s members can file criminal charges.
Believe it when I see it.........
Don’t pretend to go after her, indict and prison is required.
I hope this is true.

DOJ is in a perfect position to unmask (?) everybody involved in this weaponizing of the IRS, all the way up to Obama, Holder, Lerner and the rest.
Do it.
This will at the very least make her miserable life more miserable.
After her conviction, she should be forced to serve her time at Gitmo. Obama released many of the original house guests there, so there should be plenty of room in the facility to house somebody who betrayed the public trust.
