Bad things happen to people who don’t question their leaders...

Bad things can also happen to good leaders when malcontent agitators run around gratuitously undermining morale in the cause.

The American Revolution itself hung by a thread at several junctures due to such disloyal behavior.

Donald Trump is America's George Washington of the 21st century. Or at least he has that potential—as long as his supporters don't tear each other—and thereby the Movement—apart.

Endless second-guessing was something Washington had to contend with as well, and it almost destroyed the Revolution.

The perceptive Patriots of that era realized his greatness, and gave him their loyalty and trust. The same applies in the present day.

I have NO problem with people being concerned. But when that becomes false, unfounded accusations, and undermines morale, it starts to serve as de facto Enemy propaganda—whether intentional or not—and sometimes it is clearly intentional.

If the believers need to do a better job being skeptical, then the doubters need to do a better job seeing the big picture, instead of getting bogged down in hyper-critical nitpicking.

I guess I feel that a good leader’s actions will stand up to friendly questioning from a supporter who donated and went to rallies.

I don’t know what to say about intentional trolls—I thought most of the anti-Trumpers were bumped in the late Spring of 2016.

Though there probably is a proper balance, I think there is a point where the morale of the movement takes second seat to asking legitimate questions—and you and I may disagree on what is a legitimate question.

However what concerns me (please no “concern troll” comments) is that it is becoming very unfashionable to even question actions...There are Freepers going around attacking people who differ with their opinion on the threads. Before the issue of Syria it was the RyanCare bill. Well, I think Trump has people reading FR—even posting here (LS), so our input is valuable and it is OK that we questioned it...IMHO It was a lousy bill as many will now concede~even President Trump wants it re-written. In questioning and yes even disagreeing, we may actually be supporting Trump (sort of an anti-establishment/globalist voice) more than we know because he needs to hear from his base—we don’t know all the force coming down on him from the GOPe, dark state, etc.

I see a defined trend away from free speech in 2017 nationwide—we see it with BLM, snowflakes on Universities, protestors shutting down meetings with speakers they don’t like, etc. I truly just think people should really re-think attaching fellow Freepers who may disagree or the constant “fake news” meme when they don’t like the news. I learn a lot from respectful, spirited debate here—shutting it down with nasty comments does not serve the public well—which is why I continue to say at bottom of my posts: Bad things happen to people who don’t question their leaders.

As the saying goes, I may disagree with you, but I defend your right to say it...(B. Hall)

I have not ever agreed 100 percent with anyone...not my parents (LOL), spouse, adult children, friends, and neighbors. Why would I agree 100% with any politician—I didn’t with Reagan, I don’t with Trump? Even though I don’t agree with everything just because he is our president (as some here have said), I would vote for him tomorrow!

Fregards and have a wonderful Easter weekend.

BTW, I was not ever a Cruz supporter—I supported Trump from day one—actually before day 1 because I had the feeling he was positioning a run.
