I do know a flight crew had to go to the destination
The only way a flight at the destination could go out, was if this crew showed up.
All the passengers on that flight impacted a number of other flights, and those flights other flights.
Who is disputing that? Certainly not me.
Flight crews are ALWAYS are far more important than ordinary people.
Certainly far more important than a mere doctor. Who the hell cares how much our lives are disrupted?
But I am disputing is that the flight was overbooked in the traditional sense. United decided to overbook it.
