Confirming a reversal on tough China talk, President Donald Trump told The Wall Street Journal Wednesday that he will not label the Asian country a currency manipulator in a report due this week.
"They're not currency manipulators," Trump said in the interview.

Whine whine whine.
China turned the NORK ships away and is buying its coal from the US again.
Art of the Dealeo
Huh?
Everybody knows China is a currency manipulator. They artificially devalue their currency every 2-3 years and will not allow it to float on international markets.
The important thing is that China import more U. S. goods.
However that happens, I’m fine with it.
Trump touched on two areas where there was improvement during his talks with Xi.
He mentioned North Korea, and we’ve seen the Chinese government make some important moves on that issue.
Lets give it some time and see what happens with trade.
I am amazed at the people who go ape-s... on this forum at the drop of a hat.
Patience folks. Good grief.
Jeez louise. Three threads in as many minutes. First NATO. Then Ex-Im. Now THIS?!? Holy cr@p.
See, I even couldn’t keep up with the speed he has changed his positions. What did Trump get in return from China? Lip service to sanction North Korea?
Since unpinning several years ago, I don’t think they are now.
DO, I ran out for mustard seeds yesterday, but at this rate, I’m gonna need a truck load more...
Maybe the Gooks aren’t manipulating their currency anymore. How could we tell?
Ummm, yes, I’m disappointed that the person I voted for is changing their position on items that were key to my vote. If that’s whining then so be it.
I wonder if it entered Ms. Cheng’s head that this is the result of negotiations between Trump and China. The media is just relentless in their attempt to spin every single thing against him. I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that some of the actions that the media screams are “backtracks” or “letting his supporters down” are part of negotiations. Give and take.

I’ve never seen anything like it. Soros-funded ShareBlue PAYS people to post comments like these. We’ve got consumate gloom and doomers who do it for free
How much do you think David Brock pays these snowflakes?
Bet a few are Soros paid.
Trump adapts to changing realities. And that’s great!
The reason Trump gave is the strong dollar. In that context it makes sense.
Actually if you pay attention China is artificially “inflating” their currency.
Everyone who has money in China is trying to covert their money to dollars and can’t do it because the Chinese government is preventing them by restricting how much dollar they can exchange for.
Because they know if they lifted those restriction everyone in China would dump the Chinese EMB and buy the dollar, and collapse the value of the RMB.
