Who was the Captain of this flight?

If there was trouble the flight attendant would have gone to the Captain.

My guess is the Captain said to remove the customers so the flight crew could get on.

Professional courtesy and all that.

“””remove the customers so the flight crew could get on.”””

Even at this late date I have not read anywhere that it was a ‘United Flight Crew’ who needed to board the plane.

All reports seem to say it was United Employees” who needed to board.

Big difference as to the rules if it were only regular employees.

Another video has surfaced.

Looks like the guy found his 15 minute moment.

"'I'm staying... you'll have to drag me': Passenger who was bloodied and hauled from an overbooked United flight seen refusing to obey police orders in new video from the plane" ...

"Dr Dao (left), starts as a flight attendant and police officer (right) are stood in the aisle. ‘I won’t go. I’m a physician I have to work tomorrow, eight o’clock,' he is heard saying. The officer is then heard in the video again asking Dr Dao to leave. 'No I am not going,' he replies, shaking his head angrily."

"You'll have to drag me" He got his wish.
