Saw them in the LA Coliseum in 1981 with Prince, George Thorogood and The Stones.

Greg Allman said ‘Full House’ was his favorite live album.
I think it’s one of the great live albums ever ranking up there with the Allman Brothers ‘Live at Filmore East’ and the Stones ‘Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out!’.

Sorry Drew, I didn’t see this thread and I posted another one with the same source. I was certainly a boy of that age at that time.

“Centerfold”
I still hate that song - but I love these:
“First I Look At The Purse”
“Looking For A Love”
“Give It To Me”
“Must Of Got Lost”
“(Ain’t Nothin’ But A) House Party”
“One Last Kiss”

Small world. I was at the Coliseum that same week, only I was there for the USC Trojans (they got upset by Arizona) despite Marcus Allen running 200+ yards for the fifth straight game. The Stones played the night before and would play again the night after. During the football game, you could see the staging on one end of the field.
I do remember the reviews of the show and how Prince got practically booed off the stage. On the other hand, George Thorogood brought down the house.

Your sister sounds like a really fascinating person.
I gave up caring about what people generally thought about me a long time ago. It took many years to figure out the opinions of the narrow minded didn’t matter.

To me it was what a stupid sad song for losers.
71 is fairly young.
It’s awful. How many decades later and that stupid song can still be an ear worm just thinking about.
My blood runs cold.

Same here I loved J Geils. Actually I love all 80’s bands. Sad to see many are leaving this Earth.

I did not know Waylon Jennings was dead. I just started getting into some of his music. Love his rendition of “Will the Wolf Survive” (originally by Los Lobos). I get him and Merle Haggard mixed up.
