I’m still waiting for my white privilege . What is white privilege ,,, the right to pay taxes to support others . I get nothing free ,, no handouts ,, nothing for 55 years I have busted my butt trying to stay solvent . Some privilege huh ???
If black lives really matter than perhaps the black population should stop killing one another in record numbers and act like their lives matter .
We (each and every one of us individually whether red, yellow, black or white or brown, etc) are the only ones who can make our own lives matter and in doing so, possibly help make the lives of those around us matter a bit more. And, from a Christian viewpoint, as Christians we are all privileged to be counted among God’s children. And most of us might also believe that we are privileged to be Americans regardless of race or color or economic circumstance and that ALL of our blessed lives matter.
As a great preacher said, “And when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, “Free at Last! Free at Last! Thank God Almighty, We’re Free at Last!”

Don’t blacks now enjoy all those freedoms that being in this country offers ? I don’t feel any more privileged than any other American citizen black , white , red , yellow or otherwise . I just don’t get the white privilege thing in todays America . Should I feel guilty for being born a white middle class man who has been given nothing more than the opportunity to work hard and exist in the middle class . IMO we all have that same opportunity now and have had for quite some time . To be born in this country or to become a legal citizen may be a privilege all folks of all colors can enjoy not just whites . I just don’t understand that White Privilege label .

Thanks Jim ,,, for responding ,, but I feel like a puppy chasing his tail . It still remains unanswered ,,, what is white privilege ? How does it differ from any other class in “todays” America ,,, I just don’t know . I thought we all are protected equally under our Constitution and that all men/women are as equal under the law . There are racist in every color as well ,, I just don’t get the uniqueness of white privilege but thanks for your effort .

Ah ,,,, Now I think I get it , A label the left has assigned to whites to make them feel guilty ,, perhaps for sins of the past . Today things a quite different ,,, affirmative action and many federal level minority programs are tools used to advance these young people who today have never suffered under the white dominance of the past . They should get over it and move on with a positive attitude to advance themselves to what ever heights they wish to achieve . Public school teachers and Professors in colleges and universities are promoting this theme of white privilege to up the liberal agenda and create new members of the dem party ,,, just my thoughts .
White privilege is a political ploy and a moniker of black racism. It is to be used against you to gain power over you.
