Every time Iran or North Korea rattle their nuclear sabers, the US should take a moment to reflect on the nation of Pakistan, which gave these nations their nuclear capabilities.
Since China started turning around NK coal ships and massed men on the NK border, maybe they are taking the hint, to solve the problem themselves.
As I have said on other threads, the best solution, for China and the US, is for the NK military or other leadership to take Kim out and replace him with someone who has not lost all their marbles.

Sadly Little Kim is unhinged enough to attempt a nuclear strike against US forces or the US homeland. How the US responds to such an attack will be closely watched by Iran and other rogue states. A nuclear attack on the US homeland even if the missiles falls short or fizzles must be met by a swift devastating counter attack if we are to deter any other future rogue states from trying the same. We need not level North Korean cities, but key military targets and Kim’s compound need to be hit likely with small tactical nukes if we are to have any credible deterrence. An attempted nuclear attack on US forces or Japan might call for a more measured response, but needs to be swift and massive. Pray we never need to go this far as things could escalate quickly.
