Tomi Lahren has filed a lawsuit against Glenn Beck and his online platform, TheBlaze, alleging wrongful termination.
The conservative talk show host claims she was ousted from her program after she said she was in favor of abortion rights while appearing on ABC's "The View" on March 17.
"I can't sit here and be a hypocrite and say Im for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies," she said on the talk show.
In the 27-page lawsuit filed Friday in Dallas, Lahren's attorney said nothing in his client's employment contract prohibited Lahren's comments on "The View."

LOL!
I suspect in the end, the Beck folks will have to put some money on the table...maybe a year’s salary...to end this case. She’ll be hooked up with Fox News within three or four months.
Regards,
The government (ie society) has placed limits on what men and women can do with their bodies ever since its existed.
Yes, we can tell women you cannot murder your unborn child. Damn effing straight we certainly can.
If she does it five minutes after birth we put her in jail for murder. There’s no difference between that kid ten minutes prior than geographic location.
I don’t think of Beck as pro-life. He could see Hillary as superior to Trump. I guess his claimed pro-life position must not go very far.
Beck also changed the password on her Facebook page which has 4.2 million followers and won’t allow her to log in. I’m not saying Beck is a Nazi but someone warned Beck that he would see the neo-Nazis start to rise and he may need to do some introspection.
Note that I miss-spelled employe with only one e on the end. That's because it's the editorial policy of my company, done in order to reduce employe typing time.
I remember an article at Redstate.com by Eric Erickson. He explained their editing and employment policy. Writers can postulate any view they want except pro-abortion. The article would not run and I think he said they would no longer be writing for the publication.
Sounds fair to me.
This whole episode has me wondering if Tomi Lahren has some personal experience in this situation and is trying to justify a horrible decision
Those two deserve each other. Both phonies.
I don’t see how one can truly be for freedom and liberty without also being pro-life.
Ultimately, I would prefer that parents choose life of their own accord. I don’t believe this was as much a concern, until the welfare state helped to bring about the destruction of the traditional family. Ending the welfare state as we know it is the long-term key to saving the unborn.
So anyone who claims to be for liberty and pro-aborts is either confused or lying. Likewise for anyone who claims to be pro-life, while also supporting the welfare state.
Tomi is a Me-again Kelly wanna’ be.
contract specifying that she could be terminated
**********
She hasn’t been fired/terminated, she is still employed by Beck... The basic premise is wrong. Beck will fight the suit , state the facts and win... She will then be asked/told to quit for cause, namely attacking her employer without basis. Beck wins.
Texas is a RIGHT to WORK STATE! Employment is AT WILL - unless there was a contract, she should be SOL.
Every job I’ve had has that spelled out in new hire papers.
Only EEOC violations (if they can be proved!) will allow an employee to sue.
Pretty lousy career move. Who’d want to hire her and be the next lawsuit target.
Beck is countersuing.
Oh, she’ll hook up with someone.
That’s not what it’s about.
