I wonder what the rate of false positives is for those tests.
Not just false positives. Throughout history, a lot of the world's innovators have been somewhat (or totally) odd. It can lead to innovation which flows from a unique world view. Then there's the issue of the gene pool. Is it really a great idea for abortions to be based on the fear that a child might have outlier characteristics?
Then there's the issue of acceptance of those who don't fit in to society's norms. Does anybody seriously think that autism and the potential for a dread disease won't be used as reasons to abort?
It's a philosophical issue. Humans are playing God. God usually strikes back when lines are crossed.
So do I. But, like many things associated with Planned Parenthood, we’re not likely to ever find out.
