In a similar, but tragically different story, my cousin’s wife got the same news: “Your baby tested positive for Down’s.” She wanted an abortion, he didn’t, but she did it anyway. Baby aborted and tested, but no Down’s.
Now divorced, my cousin has custody of his other two children and his ex-wife is nuts - literally.
I wonder what the rate of false positives is for those tests.
