Former President Bill Clinton has been spending some time with former President George H. W. Bush and wife Barbara in Houston.
In a tweet on Sunday, Clinton said they “caught up about kids, grandkids, old times and new times. And socks.”
Clinton also showed a photograph of him giving pairs of socks to the 92-year-old former president, who is seen sitting in a wheelchair.

It just occured to me Carter avoids Bushes and Clintons. Hmmmmm
Clintons always have underlying purposes:
a) Attempt to look healthy next to a 90+ guy
b) Talk about “grandkids” = Phoenix-tarmac-like-deals
c) Other worse evils we can’t even imagine

Whatever your political opinion of Bill Clinton, you have to feel that this is touching. These two have a bond outside of politics and I am sure that bond has enriched both their lives. Bill shows through this act of kindness to his old friend that respect for our elderly is important and worth our time. It is also true that Bill is knocking on that door himself.

No. I don’t have to feel it’s ‘touching’. I find it repugnant, as I do all things Clinton. If Bill is doing a photo op with the elder Bush, there’s something in it for Bill.
What respect I had left for Bush 41 was lost when he and junior refused to support their party’s nominee.
I’m not up on such things but do we ever see Bill visiting his grandchildren? See any pictures of him with them? See the families out at dinner, the zoo, the park, etc?

I don’t recall ever seeing a picture of gramps with the grandchildren. The criminal couple is promoted by the corporate media as a normal family, like typical America. It’s hogwash.
