To keep the North Koreans out?
In two years I was somehow in four Team Spirit annual exercises.
This is ugly news.
Did Xi tell President Trump that China would take care of North Korea?
If this is true no wonder Trump did not serve Xi a Big Mac.
WowWowWow.
I’ll bet those troops are not there to go into NK .... but focused on SK and US troops in SK.
The PLA is giving its political leadership deployable options and is reminding everyone that the US is poking, however good the reason, in their backyard.
About time they exercise those troops; they must keep them indoors through Democrat administrations which means they have been cooped up with nothing to do for the last 8 years, same as all our homeless people.
Hopefully, Trump will work with Xi to restrain / ‘fix’ N.Korea
Working with China to remove the NKorean leadership would allow for a possible future for the PEOPLE of NKorea
I would suggest air dropping radios or cheap video receiving devices in order to enlighten the people of NKorea to what’s going on in the world without the filter of NKorean leadership
Once enlightened, the people would be more open to a possible future without their ‘benevolent dictator’... as it stands, they’re probably so brainwashed they would fight on in his memory
Now India should do some teasing at its Indo-China border.
Few really know what is going on behind the scene.
What is clear is that President Trump is unlike any since perhaps Reagan.
He may appear unpredictable, but I believe that is because no one expects a politician to actually do what he says he will do. We forget that President Trump is NOT a politician.
Unlike politicians who lie for a living, President Trump comes from a world where your word is your bond.
At this point in time I trust President Trump to do what ever is in the best interest of the US.
Those border troops might also be dusted should we nuke any NK facility near to them.
. . .China fears instability at its shared border with North Korea.
The news may be behind a Beijing decision to increase the number of troops at the border, according to the Information Center for Human Rights and Democracy, a nongovernmental organization in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong newspaper Oriental Daily News reported China has deployed 1,000 additional troops to the area, and that local residents have confirmed their arrival. . .
150000 chinese troops
versus 1.7 million n korean troops....
you do the math
Looks like Tiny Kim is going to be an organ donor.
