Seriously, moving the US embassy to Jerusalem is a huge and expensive, high security operation. In much of the world, US embassies are fortresses, and this would be double the normal security.
The site being considered was formerly the location of the Allenby Barracks, the site of the British army’s Jerusalem garrison during the Mandate. The plot is 31,250 square meters (7.7 acres).
First you need land for the embassy, its parking garage and its grounds. Not easy when most of the land is already taken. Then I’m guessing 4-6 floors underground for all the vaults, secure areas, air and water and sewage filtration.
The building itself will probably be three or four stories tall, with high impact windows and able to take lots of hits from rockets and mortars It will have to be electronically safe as well.
The US embassy in Baghdad, the largest of ours in the world, and cost $750m. It was probably a lot easier and cheaper to build than one in Jerusalem will be.
Several other governments will be willing to spend hundreds of millions of dollars for all sorts of espionage operations against the embassy.

On top of that, recognizing “UN-approved principles” includes validating Resolution 2334, which undermines (and outright attacks) the Oslo Accords and declares Israel cannot build “settlements” on its own land.

The Syrian rebels practice genocide. I’ve watched more a few videos from earlier in the war where a rebel group would put a road block on a major highway and pull out and execute any driver or passenger who wasn’t a Sunni Muslim. Just pull them behind a truck and gun them down. They did it while laughing and having a good time. I don’t know what things where like in a Nazi death camps but man those rebels would have fit in pretty well as the guards in one.
