The Russians have played chess in Jerusalem before. The USSR was first to recognize the new Jewish state of Israel in 1948.
Stalin assumed that a state made up of “rootless cosmopolitans” i.e., Jews, was socialist by nature and would cause Western powers no end of trouble in the region.

Say what? Trump's agenda includes recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital. At least that is what he said on the campaign trail. I believe Putin is aligned with Trump on this issue.

This is a tough call for us. Which side do we believe, Deep State, who will always blame Assad, or Assad, who (obviously) denies it.
If Assad did it, the timing was VERY CONVENIENT for Deep State, as Trump was moving to simply disengage there, something which Deep State did not agree with, since that means that the terrorists lose.
But then why would Assad do it, considering that he’s winning the war anyway?
My feeling is that the motives and timing point to Deep State, so given that, it does appear that we are the air force for ISIS - and thank you Jared.
I don’t hear you complaining about your “tax dollars” when the US sends hundreds of millions to the PLO.
In the past 30 years, nearly 2.7 million Russians of Jewish decent moved to Israel.
