I read somewhere the claim there are more tubes (Artillery & Mortar) pointed at Seoul then in all of WWII. A factoid I find hard to believe, but I do believe an incredible number of rounds will fired toward Seoul before the tubes are silenced.

I have heard that statistic also.

it is true that incoming rounds can be electronically detected and tracked, that technology is very robust.

Using lasers to explode durable, rotating rounds mid-flight requires about four seconds for each round, it’s not just a single fempto-second laser pulse as some people are saying, here.

the Nork artillery barrage on Soeul would be like five clouds of locusts - total saturation. Using even our very best technology Seoul would be history.

we would prevail, sure, but Seoul would be history.
