People here are saying just kill Kim Jong on and it would be over, it would be simple:
that is a completely amazing statement.
that’s relies on the idea that all their people disbelieve their propaganda.
I got news for you, 95% of them absolutely believe that North Korea is the best place in the world.
there would be 100 people jumping in to take his place.
North Korea would be a tough nut to crack, it would be a VERY tough nut to crack.
Japan stopped fighting because their intact leadership **ordered** them to stop fighting and in North Korea it would be no different at all.
Korean people are tough as hell and the crazy, starving Norks make most Asians seem like pussies.
“North Korean artillery would be completely silenced in 30 seconds”
This Thread is in Fantasyland..!
I read somewhere the claim there are more tubes (Artillery & Mortar) pointed at Seoul then in all of WWII. A factoid I find hard to believe, but I do believe an incredible number of rounds will fired toward Seoul before the tubes are silenced.
I have heard that statistic also.
it is true that incoming rounds can be electronically detected and tracked, that technology is very robust.
Using lasers to explode durable, rotating rounds mid-flight requires about four seconds for each round, it’s not just a single fempto-second laser pulse as some people are saying, here.
the Nork artillery barrage on Soeul would be like five clouds of locusts - total saturation. Using even our very best technology Seoul would be history.
we would prevail, sure, but Seoul would be history.
But that’s the problem with each new war, it’s always so easy to plan the quick victory, the enemy will always collapse in the face of our overwhelming technical superiority.
It will always be over before Christmas.
But it never works out that way does it.
I suggest finishing one of the five ongoing wars first before starting a new one half way around the world.
