I dunno... I was kinda inspired by the little white juggernaut of Butler U. In both 2010 and again in 2011, those white boys made it to the NCAA finals, losing only to UConn and Duke. No other team in the nation accomplished that. They all tried, but only UConn, Duke and Butler got it done. Duke, BTW, had more than 3 white boys.

It was, and it made a BIG stir when it was printed. What didn’t make big news was later in the week, when the recorded comment was played. It was clear Thomas was joking, and it was merely a locker room wise crack. I am NO defender of Isaiah, in most situations, but even Byrd admitted that it was a “no big deal” kind of joke.
