A history professor at California State University, Fresno, appears to have advocated for the death of President Donald Trump on Twitter.
Tweets from an account purportedly operated by Professor Lars Maischak call for Trump to “hang” in order to “save American democracy,” and say the only “cure” for racist people is a bullet to their head. The account is not verified, although the bio and interactions between the user and other Twitter users indicate it belongs to the professor.
“To save American democracy, Trump must hang,” Professor Lars Maischak appears to have tweeted in February. “The sooner and the higher, the better. #TheResistance #DeathToFascism.”
“Has anyone started soliciting money and design drafts for a monument honoring the Trump assassin, yet?” the user wrote in another tweet a few days later, along with the hashtag “TheResistance.”
And in another: “#TheResistance #ethniccleansing Justice = The execution of two Republicans for each deported immigrant.”
The user has also said “mercy towards racists” is a “fatal weakness” of Americans.
“#TheResistance Mercy towards racists was always the fatal weakness of good Americans,” he tweeted. “1865, 1965, they left too many of them alive.”
Other tweets include thoughts on “fascist” Trump supporters and said the GOP.
“#WhenCaliforniaSecedes, You Fascist Trump-voting white trash scum can wallow in your filthy hell-holes of flyover states,” he tweeted. “Enjoy.”
“#TheResistance A democracy must not be tolerant of those who want to abolish democracy. It must vigorously defend itself. Ban the @GOP.”
The user also compared Trump to Hitler in other tweets.
The account has existed since June, 2013.
Maischak did not reply to multiple requests for comment. A spokeswoman for CSU Fresno told The Daily Caller News Foundation Maischak’s comments on social media do not represent the university. “Lars Maischak is employed as a lecturer at Fresno State,” Margarita Adona told TheDCNF. “Statements made on his personal social media accounts are his alone and are not endorsed by or reflect the position of the University.”

Ahhhh...if he continues to be employed by CSU Fresno then yes, his comments do represent the university.
The tweets were in Feb. If he hasn’t been visited yet, ain’t gonna happen. What happened to the NSA/CIA scouring every word of the internet and flagging certain words for follow up? Hmm, maybe still all obama people in those positions so it gets ignored when it comes to Trump. Scary
Even in California, where employers have few rights, and employees have many, calling for violence against any person (or, in fact animal or property) would be sufficient cause for dismissal.
Notice I do not say “grounds” but rather “cause.” Grounds describe a valid reason to take an action if the action is otherwise desired or mandated. Cause in this case describes an action by the person to be dismissed which, in and of itself, make the termination mandatory, and simultaneously provides grounds for such termination.

However, take heart. You cannot threaten the LIFE of a President, and not expect to get a visit from a guy in a white shirt with a huge gold badge pinned to it, and a huge handgun attached to his waistline.
Threatening the LIFE of a President is a FELONY .. and the scum professor .. will need to apologize to his students and swear he will never utter those words again .. or ELSE!
I hope somebody has a camera phone handy when the Secret Service comes to call on the Professor.
These stupid liberals never learn.
Personally, I hope someone OTHER than the USSS comes to call on him.
