New information has been revealed regarding the situation in Syria.

A doctor associated with the recent alleged chemical attack in Syria was tried in the U.K. as a jihadist. The jihadist doctor was tried for kidnapping journalists as a part of a jihadist group. Described in his Twitter profile as a “Medical doctor trained in the UK” and “Humanitarian aid worker”, Shajul Islam was a key eyewitness on the ground during the attack, offering himself for media video calls and uploading mobile phone footage of victims which was shared thousands of times.

Islam, from Stratford, East London, was interviewed by a number of mainstream broadcasters, including NBC News, but none notified viewers that he had previously been tried in the UK for terrorism offences and struck off the medical register by the General Medical Council after a confidential tribunal...

Assad would have nothing to gain from this attack. Trump was backing off the idea that we needed to push Assad out.

ISIS is the only one who gains.

There should have been an investigation in the incident and Congress should have been involved.

The Neocons love the attack.

There is so much more that is going on here. Nothing is as it seems. First responders not wearing gloves and masks tending to victims of a Sarin attack? Really? Drs. who are among first responders who are identifiable as Jihadists and possible members of ISIS?

These are the main reasons I have been saying that Trump had beast have irrefutable proof it was Assad and not a false flag...or CIA op.

But of course, there may be so much more going on here than we can discern.

I’m beginning to think that some folks “screwed the pooch” on the initial “intelligence” assessment of the gassing allegation and are trying to lay the framework of excuses for why there may be no actual evidence forthcoming. The below-linked article is the first I’ve heard of the hospital being bombed “possibly in an effort to cover up evidence of chemical weapons usage”.

IMHO, that (i.e., an alleged cover-up of evidence) sounds like bullshit by the “senior Pentagon officials” who were the anonymous sources for this Fox story. Good reporters will continue to ask “where’s your evidence” questions.

Anyhow, here is the article:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/04/07/us-officials-probing-russias-role-in-syria-chemical-attacks.html

Excerpt:

Senior U.S. military officials said Friday the Pentagon is looking into whether Russia played a role in the chemical weapon attack in Syria that prompted retaliatory action from the Trump administration.

The U.S. officials said they were reviewing evidence regarding the attack on the northern Syrian town of Khan Sheikhoun, where more than 80 people were killed.

They said a drone belonging either to Russia or Syria was seen hovering over the site of the chemical weapons attack Tuesday after it happened.

The drone returned late in the day as citizens were going to a nearby hospital for treatment. The hospital was bombed shortly afterward, officials said, possibly in an effort to cover up evidence of chemical weapons usage.

The U.S. says a sarin-like nerve agent was used. Syria denies the claim. And the Kremlin says Syria’s government wasn’t responsible.

The U.S. officials also said they’re aware of Russians with chemical weapons expertise who’ve been in Syria.

Cooking up bioweapons for ISIS probably pays better than the NHS.

Does anyone know the reason for the chemical attack?
Why would be the motive to drop chemical weapons on civilians who are, presumably, non-combatants?

The phrase “neocon” is about as meaningful as the phrase “Climate Change.”
It can mean anything you want it to mean.

Does anyone know the reason for the chemical attack?”

No one will ask all these people that think this was a good idea. Why would Assad do something like this when he was winning?

I haven’t heard one person including Trump offer a reason why Assad would do this when it could only hurt.

If Trump were right, he should have made his case to the American people, who he promised not to nation build. Congress is the only branch that has the power to declare war. He should have talked to Congress too.

What’s the mission? Attack an airport that they are already flying out of. I hear how brilliant this move was by the neocons. I think it was actually a poor response and didn’t make us look strong at all.

Right now the DEMs are praising this action, especially since Clinton said she would bomb their airport. Give it a week and they will be condemning Trump for it. It split the Republicans in two. Half agreeing and half disgusted.

I think Jared was the ringleader here, not Trump and that scares me.

I’ve been trying to give Trump the benefit of the doubt for a while now.

I was upset when he went after the Freedom Caucus over ObamaCare. Jared had called in Ezekiel Emanuel to help rewrite ObamaCare. With all the good people in the Freedom Caucus to call on, they go get Emanuel to help.

Now he starts a military action that could get us embroiled in a big war without getting his supporters on board.

We are thankful there is no President Hillary Clinton. But the fact that DJT is being unduly and unwittingly influenced by the likes of Jared can no longer be ignored. Jared has a smirk on his face that needs to be wiped off. Makes me wonder if Steve Bannon tried to clue DJT in but couldn’t overcome “family”.

We already did the do-nothing Congress thing in 2013. That’s how Russia got invited to the table. That worked out so well.
