Why couldn’t the FBI have obtained a warrant and seized the server as they would have done is most any other investigation where justification existed?

Undoubtedly if the FBI wants to investigate something, they can just be told NO.

I don’t think private entities should be conducting any aspect of investigations. That’s something that we need save for people who are not beholden to any commercial interests.

If I ever decide to commit treason and the evidence is on my computer, I will just refuse to allow the FBI to look at.
