More of the down payment can be made by getting all of the rest of the judicial vacancies filled as soon as possible with Trump appointees now that the same standard applies to both Republican and Democrat appointees. The Democrats used the Senate rules to stifle getting the courts filled with Bush appointees and left many vacancies for Obama to fill in addition to the new vacancies that occurred during his tenure, which they of course rammed through by not honoring the same traditions they claimed were so important before - he got to fill way more than what should have been his share.
