Steele has been with ESPN for a decade, and has been at the center of several controversies in recent months regarding her conservative political views. In January, Steele came under fire when she complained about protesters of President Donald Trump's travel ban, causing her to miss her flights.

Wow, what complete garbage. Sage is a friend and this is infuriating. All of the political garbage on that station and Sage (the conservative) gets demoted for her political views.

I predict the pace of subscriber loss for ESPN to quicken.

What is totally mind boggling to me is that Conservatives in charge of anything are always squishy and squeamish about playing hardball. And leftists? That’s ALL they play. They don’t give a fig about anything. It’s all strictly ideology — all the time — with no regard to consequences whatsoever. Is it any wonder we are always so outmatched?

As though anyone thought that ESPN would release the liberals when they discussed firing talent.

Never gonna happen.

It was my fault. I didn’t think the entire headline would fit.

So, ESPN releases a black woman first, huh?

Sage was part of a very impactful forum on race & faith that was held in Tampa in February with Tony Dungy, Benjamin Watson, Warrick Dunn, Danny Wuerffel, and a number of impressive individuals. She moderated during the forum and said that the worst racism she’s faced is from her own race. She got absolutely crushed for being honest. Hard to believe this isn’t a result of those comments.

New rules now that Trump is in office. It's open war on Conservatives. There are no protected classes anymore...unless you're a Liberal.

Seems like Steele, Ditka and Shilling could have a lawsuit that they have been discriminated against.

Yeah, I knew that once she had the temerity to say that the worst racism she has faced has been from black people, she would suffer consequences. You just are not allowed to state the truth anymore.

Sage’s dad, Gary Steele, was the first black varsity football player at West Point. He’s battling cancer.

I was an organizer of the forum where she stated that truth. I feel literally sick to my stomach.

Absolutely correct. When you keep getting punched in the face, sooner or later ya need to punch back.

The executive VP for ESPN publishes an article yesterday essentially defending the SJW talent while saying to the public that they were going to be stricter on political commentary. His reason for doing this was not because of them losing 12 million subscribers in six years, but because ESPN is just a wonderful place to work. The very next day, they demote the conservative voice in the wilderness ... so predictable and stupid.

How much would it cost to get your favorite channels a la carte?

ESPN family networks belong on an episode of "American Greed", not to mention, "Subversives Today".
