President Trump Has It Wrong on Syria – Assad Did NOT Use Chemical Weapons...
The Last Refuge (Conservative Tree House) ^ | April 4, 2017 | Sundance

Posted on 04/05/2017 4:40:46 AM PDT by Mechanicos

... The entire event looks like an horrific operation by anti-Assad forces trying to create assistance for their regime change efforts by killing their own people. Yes, they are that desperate; and yes, there are vested interests in the U.S., including the CIA, who would support such an objective. ...

Are you suggesting that the rebels poisoned their children?

The Chinese just take resources, no concern for the ‘natives’. This is the defn of ‘raping the land’, to me.

US is ‘concerned’ for the natives, and wants to work in partnership to improve them, and then we share the resources. Which is a good attitude, but is easily spun to bite us in the rear.

The Chinese model works, but is brutal.

Us method is kind, but not a match for World opinion in today’s Godless economy.

Add that US method is easily perverted by selfish motives (which we have seen).

I’ve written off Hewitt long ago when he went anti Trump. He has shown his true colors as a neocon.

Yeah, that is what I was wondering. Build chemical weapons in a poorly ventilated make-shift cave is a bad idea, mkay?

Yeah, this was either a work accident, collateral damage due to an air strike on a Jihadi chemical weapons depot or a false flag operation to generate world wide pressure on President Trump to reverse Sec Of State Tillerson’s new foreign policy shift away from regime change in Syria to allowing Assad to remain in power as part of a negotiated peace agreement in the region that gets Iran out of Syria, Iraq and Lebanon.

I loved the Tarzan novels too.

People who have only seen the movies (including new ones) don’t have a clue.

John Carter of Mars was great too.

There is a bigger picture of associated carnage, which the OP was referring to.

And of late, in such countries, we’ve had the worse record on that count.

Who gains by doing this. Sure a heck is not Assad. Assad/Russia are winning why would they do this? The only group that gains by this is the anti-Assad group. Yes they would do this to their own people to get support.

You have zero proof of those allegations. Not a scintilla. Would you send your son to war over false conjecture? You don’t know a sunni from a shia. Assad was 18 years old in 1983 when the sunnis blew up the Marine barracks. He was elected in a general election in 2000 17 year after the attack on our marines. You don’t know what you are talking about do you?

The Neo Cons tried this lie in 2013. You can go back and review that. They later proved it a lie when they found the the Chlorine labs near Palmyra operated by ISIS.
Here is the logical question beyond noting there is nor proof what so ever to support this false flag.— WHY would Assad and the Russian gas their own people ? What was the strategic and military objective in committing a war crime. This was an ISIS CHEMICAL PLANT IN A POPULATED AREA that blew up. Don’t blame Assad. That is absurd!!
This is a NEOCON trick to justify the attack on a sovereign nation in rank violation of international law. We have no dog in that fight. You are screwing with the RUSSIANS over a lie.

We need to keep our noses out of the regime change business in the Middle East. McCain will party all night if he can get Trump involved in another effort to depose Assad and turn Syria over to the Islamists.

why would the Syrian Govt do such a thing, particularly now. it makes no sense at all.

Simple. After six years of civil war, Assad really hates those people, civilians and all.

The only sensible response by the President when he is confronted by this type of report is:

“We are deeply concerned that either side would use chemical weapons, whether against opposing troops or civilians. American military and intelligence agencies are looking into these reports and I will not make any further comments until I receive a full briefing, which may take some time.”

There are no good guys in Syria. Assad is a murdering dictator, ISIS is filled with religious fanatics who have no limits to their inhumanity, the Iranians and their proxy Hezbollah will do anything to destabilize Israel and cause damage to the USA, Turkey is looking for an excuse to annex parts of northern Syria and Iraq, and Russia is ruled by an organized crime boss who has never hesitated to murder civilians and political opponents to keep his iron grip on the new Russian Empire. Any of these animals are capable of perpetrating an attack on their opponents and/or making a disguised attack on their own people to cast the blame on their opponents. Finish off ISIS then get the hell out of Syria and Iraq.

Assad is saying gas was there after attack but that Syrian jet hit weapons cache that had jihadist produced chlorine at the site. Plausible since chlorine is among least technical gases to produce.

There are a lot of Christians in Syria, at least the ones who haven’t been murdered by the U.S. created ISIS, so yes I definitely care about what happens to “those people.”

Erdogan is hoping to provoke a pity party in the West, so that the West will do the dirty work of removing Assad for him.

They are safe for now, but they better not throw any babies out of incubators.

Is that you Putin the Pedophile? Hey, let’s see how the Russophiles act when their idol has banned gay pictures of himself in Russia. Ho Ho, the jokes on you.

Oh yeah, folks will love this and defend the Assad family who attacked a Christian nation in Lebanon. I have a lengthy answer, not a short abusive one cause I have no idea what I’m talking about.

Did you see the children having their clothes stripped off and sprayed to remove the chemical? Your reply, to me, is beyond comprehension. If no sympathy for the adults at least have some for the innocent children.
