If former National Security Advisor Susan Rice though she could get away from the current furore over the Trump "unmasking" scandal with just one MSNBC interview in which Andrea Mitchell did not even ask her why she lied two weeks ago to PBS, she will be disappointed as moments ago Dow Jones reported that the House Intelligence Panel has asked Susan Rice to testify, supposedly under oath.

As a reminder, earlier in the day, the MSNBC anchor asked Susan Rice if she would testify before congress as Rand Paul requested, Rice responded by changing the subject to Russia.
"Rand Paul is suggesting that you be subpoenaed to testify. Would you be willing to go to Capitol Hill?" Mitchell asked.
"You know, Andrea, let's, let's… see what comes," she said. "Umm, I'm not going, ahh, you know, sit here and prejudge, but what I will say is that the investigations that are underway as to the Russian involvement in our electoral process are very important and they're very serious. Every American ought to have an interest in those investigations going wherever the evidence indicates they should."

There is a sizable cadre of people on FR who want nothing to happen to any of the bad actors. What is their motive; they pretend to be “realists” or something, but they are either mentally ill hopeless defeatists, or are trying to instill defeatism in others for their own reasons.

I don’t exactly know what you are alluding to, but if you are suggesting I am a defeatist, you are wrong. I would like nothing more than to see Susan Rice prosecuted for her involvement in crimes against this country, mainly her assistance in burying Benghazi along with four Americans in a pile of lies. I don’t pretend to be a realist, I am, and there is nothing in the past eight years that would indicate to anyone that a congressional hearing has done anything to uphold the rule of law. I don’t expect this one to either.
Nothing, but lying to congress has no consequence, especially not for Democrats.
Rice is just dancing ....but she sure looked tired in her interview. Likely not sleeping too well of late.....;)

One of the things we need to do is give lots of room to Trump and those working with him.....we really haven’t a clue the intensity of all this because we are not on the front lines..’they’ are...
Seeing Trump carrying on with his meetings and work should suffice us...he’s doing what he’s suppose to do while he and those with him are directing the traffic behind the scenes that needs to be out of view.
I think we all need patience....this thing is ready yet to blow as we want to see it blow....Rice is just the beginning....

Yes...and not just Sessions....as mentioned we need to give our guys lots of room to go and do whatever out of sight.....Trumps doing his work in full view of the audience and that’s very good because it keeps the MSM occupied until the next ball is dropped out there for all to see.
