Damn these Wahhabi maniacs.
How the hell do they get off telling US how to dress when we visit their lunatic asylum of a Country when they come HERE and demand they don’t have to comply with OUR dress code?
She should have worn a mimiskirt.
I hate Wahhabis.

Well, that’s good. Her statement after the most recent London jihadi attack was a complete suck-up to Islam, so I’m actually rather surprised.

I’m sure the Saudis were happy to let her do it. And that it was arranged ahead of time. Great PR. Let’s see her drive in Saudi.

[ The Prime Minister, in a dark blue trouser suit,
made sure she had her wrists and ankles
covered, in accordance with strict dress codes for women in Saudi Arabia. ]
I guess, in Saudi Arabia, wrists are pretty exciting. If that's "covered" then....

She is a Prime Minister (head of government) for a Monarchy, and she bows or curtsies when meeting her own Queen (the head of state). It is appropriate for her to do so when meeting another monarch.
In the British system, the Queen gets the respect, but the PM gets the political power. It works for them.
On the other hand, our President is both head of government and head of state, and represents the American people. He should bow to no one. Mr. Obama didn’t understand that...

Good point.
Even better, I’d like to see her drive to the nearest Christian church. Oh, wait. Even though there are thousands of Christians in Saudi Arabia, there is not a single Christian church in the entire country.
A little side fact: One of the largest mosques in the world in located in Rome.

Theresa may has continuously made the same wishy-washy statements on Islam - its a “religion of peace,” “nothing in the Quran justifies what ISIS or Al Qaeda is doing,” “these extremists don’t represent true Islam” etc, etc..
She’s George Bush lite.

Unless I missed it, we, as a nation, don’t have a dress code. Bikini or burqa, in most places, you can wear what you want. Sometimes you cover up out of respect for others feelings, other times you don’t.
The only restrictions are what private property owners impose on their own property and broad legal restrictions on exposing genitals and breasts in public.
The Saudis can set their own rules for their own country.

I once had a chat with a (female) respiratory therapist who worked at the hospital where I worked. She told me that she had once spent some time working in a hospital in Saudi...mainly because the pay was amazing. She said that there were pluses and minuses....she said a woman could walk down any street at any time of day without fear. But OTOH,she said that you could run across “religious police” who would,if they saw a woman showing too much ankle, whip that woman on the ankles with some kind of whip they carried.

Here is how our brave, glass ceiling-shattering Feminists go to Saudi Arabia.
