President Donald Trump golfed with Sen. Rand Paul this afternoon, together with White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney.
We had a great day with the president. Played some golf, and we talked and we talked about a little bit of health care, Paul told reporters after the game. I continue to be very optimistic that we are getting closer and closer to an agreement on repealing Obamacare.

Like I said in the other thread I think a lot of negotiating is going on behind closed doors so to speak. I think there will be a consensus before the “new” bill comes up for a vote.
Sounds good... waiting for a new headline:
Rand Paul Very Optimistic About Golfing with Trump after Repealing Obamacare
I want 0bamacare repeal.
I want Gorsuch seated.
I want sanctuary cities to lose funding, be required to repay funds that were intended for enforcement, and I want those mayors put in jail for obstruction.
I want Trump to get out of the Breyer patch with the courts in re travel.
I want people put in jail for treason trying to use intel illegally to bring down a president. I want their pensions taken away.
I want Lois Lerner in jail without pension.
I want Susan Rice in jail for lying about Benghazi.
I want people that in jail for fast and furious illegal gun running.
Now cmon damnit.
A good negotiator must be a man or woman of his/her word.
Trump is.
Susan Rice may have a problem with the unmasking thingy, too.

Plus, you can work on it without being in the spotlight and with greater honesty and less politics.
Keep your eye on the Individual Mandate, not the distraction.
And Gorsuch = Roberts, both are SlaveCare tyrants.
Art of the deal, golf version...
Wow
Individual Mandate V.S. Individual Health Savings account HSA
This is the ONE & ONLY argument about health care. Nothing else matters.
The former is Govt misery. The latter is the abundance of liberty.
Yes. I do get exhausted educating the nation, but it is a dirty job and somebody had to do it.
Just another non-repeal repeal?
my head is not spinning
Tons of talking is taking place behind the scenes. As soon as there is an agreement, there will be quick votes in the House and Senate. The Democrats will be on the receiving end of how Obamacare became law.
Repeal and do not replace. Ideally, we should seek reimbursement from everyone who took money under this unconstitutional and immoral law.
The basic principle of the conservative movement is that that all redistributions of wealth and income need to stop. Same should be true, btw, for any kind of interference in the free markets. Rich people should not have to pay for the upkeep of poor (read: lazy) people. Let them work.
Also, government has no business “regulating” business. Business people should run their companies as they choose. People who don’t like how a company does business can choose to not buy from or work for that company. People who are truly harmed by said company can seek damages (assuming they are willing to pay the company’s legal fees if they lose). Preferably, that would take place in a private arbitration proceeding. Where did we get the crazy idea that the government should be involved in such things?
We need to encourage the strong to be strong and let the weak suffer the consequences of their weaknesses. That is what God wants. We cant MAGA until we do that.
How can this be, F Chuck said it was over and he was a lame duck.
Trump golfing with Rand Paul
is much better than
Trump golfing with Paul Ryan.
Susan Rice might have been the one doing the un-masking...or maybe she's just taking the fall for Obama...
The real challenge will be removing the teat (preconditions, subsidies, etc) without having the teat suckers go completely nuts.
