To: Gay State Conservative
I attended a wedding at an Episcopal church in Hamilton, MA.

Carved into the wood paneling at the back were the names of parishioners that served in WWII.

In large letters, at the top of the list, was Patton. (And in much smaller lettered list, the then-FIL...)

Hmmm...interesting.I thought that Patton was from California.Of course having spent his career in the Army he would have been assigned to various posts,including Fort Knox of course.

Massachusetts? I wonder if he was ever posted to Fort Devens.And if he was I don't know how far Hamiliton is from Ayer.
