Trump admin stops disclosing troop deployment information
Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, a top conservative critic of House Republicans failed plan to replace ObamaCare, concluded his golf outing Sunday with President Trump by saying party members are getting closer on a compromise repeal plan and that he remains very optimistic.
The presidents invitation for Paul to play at Trump National Golf Club in northern Virginia is a sign that he is trying again to negotiate with congressional conservatives who failed to back the originial ObamaCare overhaul plan, after weeks of attacking them.
We had a great day with the president, Paul said after playing with Trump and White House Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney. We did talk about some health care reform. I think the sides are getting closer and closer together. And I remain very optimistic that we will get an ObamaCare repeal.
Paul, a licensed opthamologist and Tea Party favorite, has his own ObamaCare replacement plan, which he argues goes further than the Republican House leadership plan to fully repeal and replace the 2010 health care law, under which consumers are facing rising costs and fewer policy options.
White House official Stephanie Grisham said earlier Sunday that the threesome would discussing several issues at the club but that health care would be a big topic.

Sheesh, take a sedative, will you?
Repealing Obamacare brings it back to - wait for it - the crappy, semi-free, Medicare/Medicaid/Medicare Part D mess before.
Obamacare is not going to get repealed on a dime. There are too many stakeholders, too many players, and too many gibs-me-dats to turn it over to Adam Smith.
Ryancare was a POS, and I was one of the loudest critics on it. However, Trump is working with the FC and will work with the RINOs to start disassembling Obama's baby.
>I dated a black female news reporter. All of her friends in the news reporting business know who is on the down low (gay or bi and pretending to be straight). Obama was known to prefer white men over 50 and was the top, not the bottom. Rahm Emmanuel the same. Yes, I know he comes off as the bottom, but gay sex doesnt always work the way a straight guy would guess.
The top part does surprise me. Right after Obama won reelection he publicly hit on the the female Thai PM on camera in such a beta and clumsy way that A) it was pretty clear he wasn’t getting on with women very often and B) he was far too weak to be alpha in in anything. I assumed being a such a baby would translate over to his boyfriends but ya, I know jack all about it.
Good. Sean Hannity has been asking them to get the consensus first.
Putin is not very gay friendly. And Obama just isn’t very heterosexual.
There are workarounds that pencil out. That 30% premium in the last bill was one, and an exclusion of 90 to 120 days would be another. Combined with reinsurance for very high risk patients along with dropping the unlimited lifetime max and it’ll work out.
The big hangup is that they need to recognize that medical care for the poor will always be a money loser, and they need to create two totally different systems.
You are aware that every time somebody with one of those twenty buck a month health plans had a big claim that wasn’t covered and they couldn’t pay, the cost of their care would get dumped on the taxpayer, right?
Or should we just say, “tough luck, you shouldn’t have bought the cheap plan” and leave them in the gutter?
Obviously you don’t understand the concept of insurance. Perhaps you might take a few moments research. An important term is “risk”. Have it. Go! Now!
Actually, I just made an error — was thinking of his dad - congressman Ron Paul.
So let’s make him majority leader...
How about Gowdy? Or someone from the Freedom Caucus?
