Trump admin stops disclosing troop deployment information
Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, a top conservative critic of House Republicans failed plan to replace ObamaCare, concluded his golf outing Sunday with President Trump by saying party members are getting closer on a compromise repeal plan and that he remains very optimistic.
The presidents invitation for Paul to play at Trump National Golf Club in northern Virginia is a sign that he is trying again to negotiate with congressional conservatives who failed to back the originial ObamaCare overhaul plan, after weeks of attacking them.
We had a great day with the president, Paul said after playing with Trump and White House Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney. We did talk about some health care reform. I think the sides are getting closer and closer together. And I remain very optimistic that we will get an ObamaCare repeal.
Paul, a licensed opthamologist and Tea Party favorite, has his own ObamaCare replacement plan, which he argues goes further than the Republican House leadership plan to fully repeal and replace the 2010 health care law, under which consumers are facing rising costs and fewer policy options.
White House official Stephanie Grisham said earlier Sunday that the threesome would discussing several issues at the club but that health care would be a big topic.

Definately.
Obama couldn’t use golf for business meetings because he can’t play. He’s terrible.
“Let’s hash this out over some golf. I’ll show you how bad I suck and you can kick the living shit of me.”
Not a real good negotiating approach.
On the other hand, Trump is not only a very good golfer himself. He also owns some of the finest golf courses in the world.
Like everything else involving Trump and Obama, the difference between day and night.
Paul, a licensed opthamologist... you would think he could ‘clearly’ see how bad ryancare is.
Gawd don't you know anyting? *rme*
What golf buds? Didn’t he always play by himself?
Excellent point and I agree completely with you.
You are like the democrats on wiretapping Trump. You sell process and ignore the message. Get lost.
If that happens, it’s TOTALLY on the hypocritical SOBs who wanted to repeal Obamacare until they could actually repeal Obamacare. If Trump chooses Ryan over the Freedom Caucus, I just might relinquish Deplorable status. NO MANDATE!! NO FORCED COVERAGES!!
Why would you buy life insurance for a dead person or laying on his or her death bed?
All your points are ridiculous and make no sense what soever.
“Imagine, if you will, an insurance company that would grant coverage to someone after the wreck occurred.
What would the premiums be for everyone else?”
Indeed. If Obamacare isn’t repealed fully, what is not absurd is to think that may be life insurance companies will eventually be forced to cover dead people.
Hey, the dead can already vote democratic, may be they can also get covered. Just because a person died a month ago, it is unfair for his poor family to have to move on without him. Pony up you greedy insurance companies.
The place he goes to in Florida. I think it’s close to Miami.
“Isn’t it the point to get insurance before the car is wrecked? Who would buy insurance for a house that has been damaged by a tornado? You buy it before not after wards.

Unless you are living under a rock in the past 7 years, you should realize that the pre-existing condition mandate FORCES insurance companies to accept already sick and dying people. THAT increases costs for ALL of us, this gubmint mandated/forceful edict on insurance companies.
Allow insurance companies to reject those that are too costly and the savings will trickle down. If not, this will lead to single payer commie care — whether Obamacare or Ryancare or Trumpcare. Same difference.
Excellent point.
I know Mick personally and this is a great sign. I’m guessing Trump found that Ryan’s not budging and decided to go the other way. He also probably got flak from his staff for calling out the freedom caucus.
Obviously he did, that is why he wasn’t for it.
I dated a black female news reporter. All of her friends in the news reporting business know who is on the down low (gay or bi and pretending to be straight). Obama was known to prefer white men over 50 and was the top, not the bottom. Rahm Emmanuel the same. Yes, I know he comes off as the bottom, but gay sex doesn’t always work the way a straight guy would guess.
And Dennis Hastert went from obscure Congressman to Speaker of the House because why? Once you get that one right, understanding political dynamics becomes much easier. Wives, girlfriends and boyfriends have political leverage, and they use it. Money, sex, power.
I want a parallel system where any insurance company with sufficient financial backing can sell any health insurance plan to any resident at any price. Freedom includes freedom to contract. After a while, the socialist systems will fail because they cost too much. And where any doctor/hospital/provider can also offer up services at a mutually agreed upon price.
Article 1, Section 10 of the U.S. Constitution requires this of the States, and Amendment 10 requires that the Federal Government also stay out of our business. So all it takes is any branch of the U.S. Government to have the guts to stand up. Congress can write the rule that the U.S. Supreme Court has no jurisdiction over the matter, and legally that settles it. Guts, glory.

Oh, it looks like you don’t agree with the pre-existing condition mandate either. If so, I have no disagreement with you. Pre-existing condition mandate is the evil commie care.
