Trump admin stops disclosing troop deployment information
Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, a top conservative critic of House Republicans’ failed plan to replace ObamaCare, concluded his golf outing Sunday with President Trump by saying party members are “getting closer” on a compromise repeal plan and that he remains “very optimistic.”
The president’s invitation for Paul to play at Trump National Golf Club in northern Virginia is a sign that he is trying again to negotiate with congressional conservatives who failed to back the originial ObamaCare overhaul plan, after weeks of attacking them.
“We had a great day with the president,” Paul said after playing with Trump and White House Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney. “We did talk about some health care reform. I think the sides are getting closer and closer together. And I remain very optimistic that we will get an ObamaCare repeal.”
Paul, a licensed opthamologist and Tea Party favorite, has his own ObamaCare replacement plan, which he argues goes further than the Republican House leadership plan to fully repeal and replace the 2010 health care law, under which consumers are facing rising costs and fewer policy options.
White House official Stephanie Grisham said earlier Sunday that the threesome would discussing several issues at the club but that health care would be “a big topic.”

Just like a car insurance company does not want to cover a totaled car or a car that does not start.
Just like a home insurance company does not want to cover a house already damaged by tornado.
Just like a life insurance company does not want to cover a person already dead or in his death bed.
What’s next? The gubmint comes down on life insurance companies for refusing to insure terminally ill people? This “pre-existing mandate” is a gubmint tyranny and it needs to be thrown out.

Is the Management Amendment in there still?
This time around it appears there are a whole lot of talks going on behinds the scenes this time around. I think they will get a consensus before announcing a new vote on a healthcare bill. It also appears that President Trump is playing major role in the “new” healthcare bill.

With the pre-existing condition mandate, there is ONLY cost and risk, no reward for the companies. Also, those companies aren’t charities. They need to be held accountable to their shareholders.
Get the gubmint out, or else the gubmint will be the single payer. These mandates are just evil.

You do realize that insurance companies are and always have been quasi government agencies, right? When they exist on their own without regulation they always take short term profit over long term safety and tend to blow up when they frequently bet wrong. So they’re already regulated to death and are not freemarket.

Could you sell that to the voters? It going to sound really heartless. If you can’t convince people then pushing that view will just harm our cause.
Imagine, if you will, an insurance company that would grant coverage to someone after the wreck occurred.

Maybe it’s just me— but I don’t give a crap how somebody “feels” about a bill that we haven’t seen— This is bull crap. Get that bill our here!! Plenty of time to analyze. Then I want a full breakdown , by republican congressman, of all contributions to them by the following 1. insurance companies. 2, Insurance company employees. ,3. Doctors 4.doctors employees and wives. What am I missing?
Well, it doesn’t really matter where he is. He works, where ever he is.
Trump should have Price mark up a Mo Brooks full repeal. That way you get a bill that fully repeals Obamacare, with added free market solutions.
