During that trip I began to realize that for President Trump, it is now the dry season but the wet season is coming. Soon the alligators in the swamp will disperse. I came back to six more weeks of winter, as the groundhog predicted. After the nasty weather yesterday and a couple more soaking rainstorms, it will only be a matter of time before the obvious to some will be common knowledge for everybody else.

My brother wasn’t in Trumps court til he read the book and then went back into his history and found him to be consistant as well.
Too many people don’t want to understand Trump in the republican party. So Trump will easily ‘Play’ them to his advantage. I suspect he couldn’t play Rand Paul. ...rather just being seem with Rand would make Ryan and some others nervous.
Wrong. Trump is stuck on something that will pass and he put his shoulder to the wheel and called out those who rode in the cart. You can’t pass the HFC version, its childish to pretend.
Just because someone can hear others out doesn’t mean that they can adapt their thinking to clearer thoughts and better ideas.
But it sounds like Paul is optimistic after his round of golf, so fingers crossed.
I think the meeting is a good thing. Rand Paul is probably carrying a very narrowly focused position and Trump is listening.
The democrats will keep crying bloody hell on this. They want to confine Trump and isolate him in Washington DC where there are leaks and surveillance.
If Trump does simply replace with a more free market system there will be more plans for less cost, and other than the indigent on Medicaid, everyone will be able to afford some sort of plan.
I thought Rand and Trump were mostly respectful toward each other during the campaign.
