IMHO, it is time for the IRS to limit tax-deductibles “contributions”.
A decrease in upper-bracket income tax rates could be balanced by “caps” on tax deductions for “contributions”, “mortgage interest” and “taxes”.
After those changes, sanctimonious millionaires will finally get to pay the higher income taxes that they “claim” are “just”.
Every donation over $100 USD to any and every cause or “PAC” should be public record. Donations to candidates of greater than $25.00 should be public record.
