I think given what has been done to date, some would rather Trump fail than accomplishing anything... I have already read some pointing the finger to 'republicans' giving Trump the nomination... even here on FR the smug in name only Conservatives are spewing bash at 'liberal' Trump... one even pointed that Trump putting his daughter in an advisory position caused this mess...

I stand with the FC, Lyin Ryan said they would “REPEAL” OC. That bill did not repeal anything, it was a fix. Next year they would have fixed it some more.
The problem with doing nothing being the Republican specialty is that this is the exact mechanism they use to piss off their base enough to hand power back to the Demonrats.
They mind the store while the Demonrats are in disfavor just long enough to infuriate the public enough to put the Demonrats back in charge.
And then the Republicans go back to their other specialty, pretending to be an opposition party.
This is a never ending cycle that benefits no one but the government.
HfC is Hillary’s Favorite Caucus at this point. Theres no chance the effort to save the country is better off today than last Friday despite Brat’s make believe.
There are a few people here on FR that are lying through their teeth. The HFC is NOT never-Trump, though some did not want him to win the nomination. That is not exactly rare; many here felt the same way. However, most HFC guys did endorse Trump after the nomination, or when it became clear he would win. And none, zero, are currently saying they are "never Trump." If anyone has proof otherwise, post it. Otherwise, you are a liar.
Did the HFC vote for Ryan? Most of them probably. There is no way to actually verify (their membership list is secret). But so did everyone else! The truth is the HFC held their nose and reluctantly voted for Ryan, as they did not want to get into a big speaker fight right before Trump was sworn in. Though I loathe Ryan, I would probably have done the same thing. There were serious discussions behind the scenes of doing it anyway, but they held their noses and voted after Trump indicated he wanted Ryan to stay. But rest assured, Ryan's no friend of the HFC, and vice versa. Blaming the HFC for Ryan being speaker is not just disingenuous, it is a smarmy weasel Sidney Blumenthal pajama-boy type fabrication of the type we despise libs for doing.
The HFC got rid of Boehner.

Trump is going to break the caucus. There will be people who “stay strong” but he’ll splinter the group and make them even less effective than they already are. I for one am on board with hearing moderate Democratic ideas and make the bill bi-partisan so it isn’t demagogued forever.
