If Justin Amash had gotten his way Trump would have cut and run last October, and Hillary would be president. He would probably love it since he could posture as a pure conservative and not have any responsibility to actually accomplish anything real.

“...the Freedom Caucus is ...insisting that they are willing to work with President Trump to keep the GOP’s promise to repeal Obamacare.”

Nothing wrong with that.

Way to come together there “R”s. All that effort to gain the White House and both houses and what do they do? Squanderville! Fidiots.

I have no doubt that if a Freedom Caucus healthcare bill came to Trump’s desk he would sign it.

“In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.” —Theodore Roosevelt

Doing nothing is the Republican specialty.

[So did Rep. Labrador:
@realDonaldTrump Freedom Caucus stood with u when others ran. Remember who your real friends are. We’re trying to help u succeed. — Raúl R. Labrador (@Raul_Labrador) March 30, 2017]

Wow... this is the biggest bunch of bulls—t I ever read!
Labrador was one of the more vocal anti-Trumpers the entire election!!

Nothing personal here. If the HFC had the numbers - Trump would back them. But they don’t. They are just about 30 or so goobers with the Ryan RINO’s numbering about 200.

Them pesky little conservatives were easier to take out than Pelosi and the democrats. Score one victory for Team Trump.

(Don’t flame me. I’m just adding perspective.)

President Trump, if you’re absolutely confident in your outright attacks on the HFC, I dare you...I double dare you to hold a rally. Come on, put your money where your big mouth is! You’re going to be in for a little surprise!

Standing strong is now complaining on twitter. Not exactly the tar heels at Shiloh.

I see this a lot. That the HFC were all Never Trumpers. And I say “So?”

Remember: ALL REPUBLICANS in DC were Never Trumpers. Especially RINO’s. And most especially Paul Ryan.

Down to 28 goobers now, Poe quit and Ken Buck voted for AHCA and wrote an excellent article outlining why the rest of the FC should, too.

They will all be running for re-election in 2018. Maybe some of them are tired of being in Congress and will just consider this their last stand. But with the Democrats, the media, about 90% of their own party and the President against them, well what do you think their chances are?

These guys are full of shit. I can’t stand the Arab back-stabber Amash. They go after Trump and Bannon but were happy to support the amnesty-pimping traitor Paul Ryan as Speaker. It figures the globalist creep Mark Levin’s site CR would be their whining HQ.

RE:”These moderate Republicans refused to go along with a full repeal of Obamacare, and now they are pledging to work with liberal Democrats to pass bad bills rather than use the Republican majority to pass conservative legislation.
It’s compromise with Democrats. Screw the conservatives. Pass liberal legislation that will hurt people. And President Trump is fine with all of it.”

Its hard to imagine what kind of health care bill that both Republicans and Democrats would vote for.

“Repeal Obama-care” is itself a slap in Dems face.

Other stuff maybe they can get something.

The budget might be passed the same as always, some Rs and some Ds.

Republicans doing what they always do, point the finger of blame. The ‘dirty secret’ is that the majority of Republicans do not oppose government run healthcare...

Yes and that’s why the freedom caucus shouldn’t fall into the Trap of letting nothing being done when some free-market reforms could be introduced into the system.

Repeal. And repeal only.

The current two-sentence bill now being offered in the House would allow the reversion to the system as it existed in 2008.

Of course, this would have some of the more doctrinaire types in Congress up in arms, as they seem to think that “doing something” is better than “doing nothing”.

But fact is, except for a couple rough spots, the system of payments for medical services delivered as it existed in early 2009 was probably the most equable in the world, and it was kicked to pieces by the “modern” thinkers. The wrong solution was applied to a problem that up to then, was not a significant impediment to the culture of America, rather like amputating an arm to treat a hangnail.

Can the freedom caucus stop being such little babies and help out with things like the Hillary-Russia connection? Give it some air time?
