Just guessing... the regard for women as intriguing females in the workplace is far less significant than it once was.
I'm not sure what that means. However, I don't think that's the point in question. The point is infidelity, which doesn't require either sex's being "intriguing," just available. The other point is a person's exposure to false accusations or scandal-mongering, ditto.
No, it is that nice people used to be careful.
Now, they aren't because, that person is just my co-worker, someone that I spend hours every days with. We do little favors for each other. We have inside jokes. We are just unwinding a bit with someone who understands. And we don't understand why you would feel uneasy or excluded. You are just letting your imagination run away with you. Do you think I would cheat? Do you really think so little of me? Oh, coworker spouse, my "at home spouse" is being unreasonable and suspicious. They just don't understand.
And when they end up in bed it will be their wife or husband's fault because they were just so demanding.
