Airlines all have their own uniforms for flight attendants, but those uniforms were never a reason customers choose to fly a particular airline…until now. VietJet, a regional airline in Vietnam, has its young flight attendants dress in corporate colored bikinis, and that marketing gimmick has helped the company’s CEO, Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, become the country’s first self-made female billionaire.

Bloomberg reports, “With the initial public offering of Vietnam’s only privately-owned airline, Thao is set to have a net worth exceeding $1 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, making her the country’s first woman billionaire.”

I chose the flights I take using the following guidelines (listed in no particular order):

1) Fare

2) Type of aircraft (the bigger,the better)

3) The overall reputation of the airline (United=OK,Air Zimbabwe=Not OK)

4) The accent of the pilot (American,Canadian,British,Aussie are best)

The physical appearance,or the attire,of the stews mean nothing to me (I don't see an airplane as a singles' bar)

I got of a DC-9 when I saw the plane was 44 years old. I took another flight.
