Fake news. There are no hillbillies in Louisiana (West Monroe Louisiana is 82 FT ASL -- hardly mountainous). If they wanted to use the proper local term for "hick," they should call them
Coonasses...
Of course, RS would think that Coonass is a racial slur (it's not).

I was visiting my cousin at her “new” house in NC last week for the first time. She’s single and couldn’t afford the best of everything. She was half-way apologizing that it was in a “redneck” area. I told her that “I like rednecks; they’re some of the best people in the world”. Generally, they are — honest and hard working. And Christian.
