An off-the-record White House meeting with roughly two dozen conservative leaders Wednesday included explicit calls for President Trump to fire IRS Commissioner John Koskinen, according to a source in the room.
White House conservative liaison Paul Teller organized the meeting Wednesday between Trump staffers and leaders of conservative groups including the Heritage Foundation and Judicial Watch.

Koskinen has been in conservatives’ sights for a while now over political targeting of conservative non-profit organizations by IRS employees.
Koskinen allegedly defied congressional subpoenas and preservation orders by allowing the destruction of potentially incriminating evidence on former IRS official Lois Lerner’s involvement in the targeting scandal.
The House of Representatives came close to impeaching Koskinen last winter, but stopped short of doing so.

The only possible reason I can see this guy sticking around, since he more than likely has his multi-hundred thousand dollar pension is that he is sitting on a time bomb that might go off if he leaves.

He is sticking around because the Trump team hasn’t replaced him. What is there problem? I can only imagine Trump is listening to advice intended to sabotage him—unless he himself considers his real positions to be more Democrat than Republican.

ALLEGEDLY??? There's nothing 'alleged' about it. He did all of it right in front of us and often on national TV.
Trump has a lot on his plate right now with the Media & Dems in open revolt. It's just possible that replacing the IRS Director has fallen down the priority list.
