I really do NOT understand WHY this old man, who has lived through some very horrible times and managed to survive, doesn’t understand that the Muslims want to kill him and that the TEMPORARY BAN is for VETTING purposes.
Just because one was a Holocaust survivor doesn’t mean that they have any more common sense that the rest of us.
Nazi Germany and the Jews was a totally ideological, internal persecution which led to the Holocaust.
Checking immigrants coming into a country, lawfully or illegally, is not even in the same category.
Jewish and non-Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany were not “terrorists” in the sense that we are talking about re ISIS, Al Qaeda, etc. 99.9 % were decent people fleeing Nazi tyranny (a few German Communists came to the US and infiltrated academia - Einstein’s personal assistant Otto Nathan, for one) but they were in the minority, thankfully.
The rest just wanted to live and become productive American citizens, which for all included learning English, the Constitution, and obeying our laws. This include my uncle Fred (who ended up in the Army during WW2 as a military interpreter of German POWS; my friend Bill who was beaten by Eichmann’s men in Austria before he could get out; and others I have known).
In case someone gets their panties in a wad (a leftist troll, per chance), I come from a Holocaust devastated family. We lost everyone who lived in Lemberg/Lvov. They couldn’t or wouldn’t leave.

Another example is Bill Kristol, a 3rd generation immigrant that proposes that the white middle class is literally replaced. Remember the video of him saying exactly that just a few weeks ago?
If his grand plan fails and the country is destroyed, oh well. No biggie. Just move to Israel.
