Freedom is the moral argument for the free market. Temporary patent law doesn’t change that. Temporary patent law is protective, not intrusive.

The thing is, when you wrote “without government coercion or interference” you didn’t limit it to the Federal Government, therefore State and Local governments are included by default, meaning their corporation and licensing laws should be eliminated too.

Patent law along with copyright law may be protective for some but they are rightfully coercive and interfering in regard to others who would take action if not for those laws. The fact that they are Constitutional doesn’t change that.
