Trump has been in office barely two months and already people on this forum are ready to jump overboard. Ironically, these are the same people who complain about spineless rinos.
I'm not buying into the President's attacks on the HFC, it looks decidedly unhinged and fratricidal.

It doesn’t matter what Trump wants or asks for, because Ryan was elected by all the House Republicans to run everything into the ground.
No, but if I were Pres Trump, I would not expect Paul Ryan, of all people, to have my political best interests at heart, and believe him when he told me that he had this covered and that all I had to do was get ready to sign.
This whole scenario boggles my mind.

I think planned parenthood is more evil than Obamacare, if it ever comes down to choosing between them.

Spin it as you will, but House Freedom Caucus votes pushed Ryan way over the top to become Speaker for them.
ELECTED SETS THE POLICY AGENDA
The U.S. House is designed that each elected majority can set their own policy agenda quickly.
No magic tricks needed like 60, 58, 66, fillibuster, 3/4, 2/3.
The current elected house sets the policy agenda, NOT the previous. Especially for critical items like Slavery Care.

Ryan was elected in the same way Trump was—it was the only choice. Someone like Dave Brat would never have gotten a majority vote from the GOP. If Trump is truly serious about repealing Obamacare and proceeding with his agenda, he needs to work with the FC and get them to work on getting rid of Ryan.
He sadly has to work with Ryan and Preibus.
It’s what The Establishment demanded to allow him to live.
I think Ivanka replaces Kellyanne. DJT seems to be moving back to native mode of only working with conservatives under pressure.
This is tearing us apart, and if someone doesn’t step in the Left is gonna rip him to pieces if conservatives are no longer holding vigil for him around the clock.
