Getting dragged down into the unconstitutional socialized healthcare quagmire is insanity!

Posted on 03/30/2017 10:30:54 AM PDT by Jim Robinson

Bad move by Trump. Ryan and the globalist big government GOPe RINOs are the problem not the Freedom Caucus. Trump is supposed to be draining the swamp by now, not swimming in it.

Put the interest of American citizens first! Freedom not socialism and tyranny!!

Good grief! Dump Obamacare already! Should have been done on day one and we’d be way on down the road to draining the swamp by now!

We the people have been demanding a full repeal for seven long years and that's the position Trump took with his original health care goal at the beginning of the campaign. What he's doing now is madness and it's quickly destroying any chance of party unity and therefore destroying his chances of accomplishing the rest of hs agenda.

Someone screwed the pooch, BIGLY!

And someone needs to get it back on track, pronto!

This is NOT the decisive action of George S. Patton. It’s the confused inaction of George B. “Little Mac” McClellan!

Where is our U.S. Grant?

Get it together guys or we lose the war.

Kinda of like the Health Care bill. Why would they put their “principles” aside for that?

Exactly!!! The HFC chose to work with Ryan and the party but not when it came to healthcare. Why?

How many of the Freedom Caucus are / were NeverTrumpers?

How many of the Freedom Caucus VOTED for Ryan as Speaker?

Which Freedom Caucus member ran for Speaker?

Who is the money behind the Freedom Caucus? Who are their paymasters?

Are the Freedom Caucus “CINOs?””

That article you linked where NY Liberals are taking over the WH is really illuminating, and expected. Of course DJT would rather spend time with the movers & shakers, instead of the drudgery of beat-back-the-Left conservatives, can’t fault him.

Except that it was everywhere BUT NY that put him in office. I hope Bannon stays glued to him for when Trump’s eyes get a little too starry and he starts considering cheating on the conservatives that put him across the finish line.

Give Trump what he wants and hang it on him. Call it Trump Care. Whatever. It will be better than Obamacare, and if Trump Care needs repealing, then that option will always be there.

A full repeal is not in the cards without some kind of replace. I wish it were, but that isn't reality. A "fixed up" Obamacare is much more likely, but even then, I don't think the Dems will come to agreement with Trump. But at least Trump could move on then and let the Dems own the coming (already come) disaster.

Dying on the principle of full repeal is owning Obamacare since we all agree disaster is coming and nothing will have been done to prevent it or soften the blow. Saying it is unconstitutional is now nothing more than opinion since the SCOTUS has ruled otherwise. Doing nothing is not acceptable for the majority party in power, a reality check is needed. JMHO, but I think that is how the country will see it too.

I don’t know the answers to your questions but if they are pushing for a full repeal of Obamacare then they are correct on the issue that matters. You can’t drain the swamp if you don’t get rid of Obamacare!

That's what accounts for my anxiety and foreboding. I have no idea which way this is going to fall, but it's a scary moment in history.

“...Trump has done more in two months than ANY Repub Pres has ever done.
Illegal border crossings are down, jobs are up, up, up, Keystone has been signed, EPA and climate BS regs have been signed.”

True. Trump also really ran on 4 main issues that are the detriment to this country: Border Security/Immigration, Tax Reform, Trade Reform and ObamaCare Repeal/Replacement.

All those other things do not matter unless the big four are dealt with and fixed.

1) We don’t know yet what Trump is going to do on Trade. He hasn’t worked on it yet so we can’t say anything.

2) Border Security/Immigration. All indications are Trump plans to still keep his promises on this although GOPe Senators might stop him from building his wall.

On the other two, Trump is on the road to betraying us

1) 0bamaCare Repeal/Replacement. Trump is clearly for 0bamaCare. He is in Paul Ryan’s corner and wants RyanCare, which makes it TrumpCare and it is just as bad as 0bamaCare.

2) Tax reform. He is going to the Democrats on this. Ridiculous! Democrats only do two things with taxes: Raise them and create more of them.

The only good news is it is early and Trump can reverse course. But I don’t see him do that.

Well said! Trump asked folks to move forward with a three-phased approach to making health care great again. HFC/Never Trumpers rejected the three phase approach because they could not trust POTUS. They demanded an “everything in one bill” approach or a simple repeal (no replace). The Trump approach was gutted and now he (and many others) are not sure they can trust the HFC/Never Trumpers. With no trust, POTUS must move to replace the “prancing ones” with conservatives you want in the fox hole.

All it will take is a couple instances of landing in hot water and conservatives suddenly, mysteriously not picking up the phone to jolt him back to who’s really paying the rent and spilling the blood for him.

That’s why we non-rich non-NYers have to erupt early and often when alarmed, because our world is really quite alien to him, and he may assume we natives are happy if we’re not chunking any spears.

No thanks. If the GOP unconstitutionally puts up its own version of the big government socialist Obamacare-lite program, then it will be with us forever as both parties then will have “approved” it. Just another permanent budget busting socialist entitlement program.

Full repeal or bust! If it’s not repealed it will eventually collapse on its own. It’s the messy way to go, but if that’s the way they insist on doing it, so be it.

They are mostly weak, pathetic Never Trumpers. They do not trust the POTUS and will never support the cause. Now we do not trust them (HFC/Never Trumpers) and we need to find better soldiers to fight on the Hill.

Then let Trump fish with the Dems, and let's hope he isn't successful. But at least then, it will be there "hands off" Titanic.

Thank you, thank you, Jim!

We the People have to fight for this.

“Health Care” is more than 20% of the economy that is not supposed to be run AT ALL by the Feds.

The Federal programs starting with O’care were supposed to be killed, not propped up like they tried!

And now the most USA-centric conservative CONSTITUTIONAL members of Congress are threatened!?

Definitely a bad move.

We Orthodox Americans need to keep showing the way.

Thank you.

Not only no, but hell NO! What part of repeal or bust do you not understand?

FR stands for God, family, country, liberty!

Those who wish to “evolve” otherwise are perfectly free to do so, but we’re standing firm with God’s gift of freedom.

I'll just tell you, where it comes to politics, you can imagine this granite platform of principle, but let's just say I am jaded by history and reality. This is surely politics, it stinks like politics, it looks like politics, it tastes like politics, it walks like politics.

I am all for what FR stands for, but let's not dip our cup in the sewer and think we are pulling up mineral water.

Because it was not repeal at all. It wasn’t even a very good attempt at replace.
It left most of Obamacare intact.

You are swimming in the swamp. Rather than drain it, you are jaded by it. Just don’t pour the swamp filth in my cup and call it mineral water.

Well, when push comes to shove, FR stands for God, family, country, liberty, constitution, etc. We may bend a bit during campaign season, trying to keep the Godless socialist democrats out, but after the election we will continue resisting the globalist socialist bastards of both parties.

Those who would rather give up and go against God and freedom might feel more comfortable posting elsewhere. We are determined to fight on! Politics be damned.
