Yes; there are three clusters of them, but I’ve only dealt with the Ringwood ones. Never hiked in Hillburn (which is the most “normal” bunch, as I understand it), and haven’t gone far enough into the woods in Mahwah yet.
They’re still trying to scam their way to federal tribal recognition, though they are just run-of-the-mill mulattos with no “Indian” blood. They have their own documentary (HBO?) trying to wring money out of Ford as well (for dumping chemicals there decades ago (when it wasn’t illegal anyway).
