The last time I looked the border between Mexico and the United States is a desert. The Jaguar of Mexico is many of hundreds of miles to the South.

There is still a small population go Jaguars in the Sonoran desert but they are unlikely to be affected by the fence since they live in the most remote mountain ranges.

In reality, the illegals are an ecological disaster and they wantonly kill the wild life they encounter on the trip to El Norte either for food or for entertainment.

Without doubt a wall would impact the animals in some manner. The question becomes
how much and for how great a distance. How far from the river do land animals travel
for daily water, etc. Surely not many miles or they would spend their time traveling and
not foraging for food.

The Rio Grande is dependent upon the Rio Conchos in Mexico for enough water to reach the
Gulf now. I suspect ranchers/farmers have to build ponds, windmills, etc for water as it is.

Just use helicopters to transport the wildlife where it wants to go then the wall will not be a problem for them.

Oil rigs in the GOM provide a resting stop for some tired birds that use them to rest on. They also become manmade reefs for
sea life and great place to fish.

“The Wall” will obviously be a mix of techniques. In those areas of environmental concern, electronic detection and drone surveillance will probably be used. The physical barrier will also be used where appropriate. That is just simple common sense....something that appears to be in short supply around this subject.

Then hold the illegals who are forcing the action accountable.

“The environment is the left’s most insidious weapon”

Yep. Big emotional pull. Do wildlife pass-thru zones. Well guarded with cameras. Mace and taser banks, maybe.

Yeah, the wall would be a definite threat to coyotes and those who travel north with them.

I care about the Delta Smelt and the Snail Darter; they are really great when FRIED with butter and a little garlic.

“Animals along the boarder could see their migration routes blocked, access to important resources curtailed, and water supplies cut off”.
And here I always thought that it was the PANAMA CANAL that did that.

Animals along the border could see their migration routes blocked, access to important resources curtailed, and water supplies cut off.

Really?

OK.

Here is the solution.

Not that the proglibs REALLY want one, they just have a blind hatred for President Trump and would oppose him if he were trying to bring water to the desert.

So, here you go...
