Under extreme pressure from conservative activists, House Republican leaders and the White House have restarted negotiations on legislation to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
But efforts to revive the legislation in the House could take weeks, lawmakers conceded, as Congress moves forward with a full plate of other time-consuming issues. And the renewed push did not meet with much enthusiasm from Senate Republicans, who said they had other priorities at the moment.
Nonetheless, Speaker Paul D. Ryan vowed to renew efforts to repeal the law, despite lasts week crushing setback when House Republicans tossed aside a repeal bill because they lacked the votes to pass it.

Someone needs to guarantee that everyone has healthcare coverage.
Everyone.
That is what our plan to ‘privatize’ misses. Everyone needs healthcare.
Everyone.

Access means just access, not having it.
And like any Democrat, you confuse health insurance with actual health care.

No, Obamacare dying will be the Democrats fault since they resisted all efforts to improve it.

I didn’t say I agreed with the post he made I just said it was well stated. It does point out things that are valid to least consider.

I am just saying.
Our medical care is now the most expensive in the entire world.
By far.
America is the most successful country on earth (though China is rapidly overtaking us, but that is another topic)
It is inexcusable that any America is not covered for healthcare.
Inexcusable.

Everyone has to have access to health care.
The free market is the only solution to lowering prices so that is the case.
You confuse health insurance with health care.
No one is denied health care today.

But the government needs to insure[sp] everyone can get coverage.
All Americans.
Period.
Yep. People have needs and the government needs to take care of them. We might have to break a few heads, but if the government would just see to it that everyone did their part we'd all be better off. All of us! So how about we try something like "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs." That sounds like something that could really work out for us.

The Free Market hasn't been tried with health insurance, and he confuses health insurance with health care.
Just like the Democrats do.
He is posting from Communist Vietnam, where they have great health care!

This is a conservative, constitutional forum.
We support ending all federal involvement in healthcare (among other things). We MUST have this debate. Should the federal government be involved in healthcare?
My answer is no. The problems, all the problems you are seeing with healthcare has to do with federal meddling.
Let the states take care of the poor and elderly
Let neighborhoods or communities organize and create their own high-risk health pools or health-sharing
Create a tax-credit so that all premiums, deductibles, co-pays can be written off
This is not rocket science.
To: cba123
The reason it is the most expensive is because of government interference which keeps prices high.
And again, you are confusing health insurance with health care, which are two different issues.
America is the most successful nation on earth because of the free market and that is the solution to all of these problems.
