Podesta Hid 75,000 Shares of Stock From Kremlin-Backed Company

John Podesta, special counsellor to President Obama and Hillary’s 2016 campaign chairman, may have violated federal law by not disclosing 75,000 shares of stock from a company with close ties to the Kremlin, the Daily Caller reports.

Podesta received the shares from Joule Unlimited Technologies while serving on the company’s board back in 2010. After announcing he was leaving the company to work at the White House in 2014, he was awarded an additional 75,000 common share stocks.

The Schedule B section of the financial disclosure forms for government officials demands that new employees "report any purchase, sale or exchange by you, your spouse, or dependent children…of any property, stocks, bonds, commodity futures and other securities when the amount of the transaction exceeded $1,000.”

Apparently, Podesta didn’t find it necessary to disclose tens of thousands of shares of stock, and left that section completely blank.

This new information has been swiftly condemned by both conservatives and liberals.

“Podesta should certainly have been more upfront in filling this out. Clearly, it should have been fully disclosed,” said a lobbyist with close ties to left-leaning Public Citizen. “That’s the point of the personal financial disclosure forms, especially for anyone entering the White House.”

Podesta served on Joule’s board with three top-ranking Russian banking executives and the company received over $35 million from the Russian government.

A former FBI official blasted Podesta, saying it was even more important to disclose the stocks because of their foreign affiliations.

“I think in this case where you’re talking about foreign interests and foreign involvement, the collateral interest with these disclosure forms is put in the forefront of full disclosure of any foreign interest that you may have,” he said.

PODESTA blatantly violated the law, but the hearings regarding nonexistent ties to Russia for members of the TRUMP ADMINISTRATION continue at full pace.

Harping about the involvement of the Russians in the US Presidential election is getting more unproductive for the Democrats every day. If the Russians intervened at all, it was much more likely on the side of the Democrats, as it would have been way more favorable for Russians to have an ineffective United States under Hillary Clinton, than to have to deal with a shrewd and aggressive hard-headed billionaire who could understand and counter their demands.

Putin may or may not admire Trump. But he sure respects him.

In fact a Podesta did the logical (but obviously not legal) thing. Who in their right mind would officially acknowledge that they were being bribed with 75,000 shares of stock to assist in gaining influence with the next President of the United States?

So, its unclear to me. How many shares total does he have?

They gave him 75000 shares on top of how many did he already have?

Again, which side of the political aisle has the long history of colluding with Russia/Soviet Union to our nation’s detriment? The leftist hypocrisy knows no bounds with this whole Russia narrative.

Instant gratification for the Russians.

From a man who used ‘password’ as his password, I bet he blabbered everything under the sun to his former board members.

Heck, he was probably bugged....................

The New York Times reported the Clintons' connections thusly: "Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal." Plus Bill Clinton pocketed $500,000 from a Moscow investment bank for a brief speech.

The NYT and Washington Post never reported about Pravda's headline: “Russian Nuclear Energy Conquers the World.” Imagine if a Republican State Department approved such a deal?

More egregiously, Hillary's campaign chairman, the ubiquitous John Podesta, acting as "The Podesta Group" (co-founded w/ his brother, Tony) lobbied on behalf of Uranium one, after most of it was owned by Russia.

They probably shot him with a tranquilizer dart, tagged his ear with a homing device, checked his teeth, and took off before he woke up.

Like Marlin Perkins tagging a Rhino on the Serengeti.

Worse than not just disclosing it, he transferred them to his daughter in an obvious attempt to subvert the law.

“So, its unclear to me. How many shares total does he have?
They gave him 75000 shares on top of how many did he already have?”

I found the answer. They awarded him 100,000 shares when he joined the board, and then gifted him another 75,000 when he became Obama’s advisor. So, total, 175,000.
